Yes, I know I'm a little strange
Last Sunday, I gave my brother in-law a ride to the airport. I had to pick him up at 4:00 in the AM. Being a night person, I did not even go to sleep that night.
Now here's the strange part...
I wanted to do this.
You see, I like going to the airport.
I gave this some thought and finally realized why.
Going to the airport makes me feel like a grown-up. This is something that grown-ups do. I'm 40 years old and I still feel like I'm 8. Going to the airport by myself is still a big adventure.
Oh well, it's nap time.
Peace out.

I don't mind the airport at all as long as I don't get kicked out of the 5-minute parking by the security people. That drives me crazy. But I'm the only person I know who doesn't go crazy when their flight's delayed.
Funny, I feel the same way...and when I go on a trip I still feel like "yippeee we're going on a triiii-iiipp" *jumping up and down*
Just exactly when do we all grow up? I know I haven't
What makes me feel grown up is getting to rent a car at my destination. (Among other things...)
What makes me feel not grown up is waiting for someone at the airport in the wrong spot.
