Top 5 funny movies
Due to the underwhelming response to my last list, I have decided to do another one. I love lists. They encourage debate (as seen in my last blog) and are just plane fun. Today I was feeling a little funny, so here are my top five funny movies of all time.
1. Airplane
2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
3. The Three Amigos
4. Happy Gilmore
5. Better off dead
6. The Princess Bride
Please feel free to add your own or comment on mine.
Thought for the day -
Awake is the new asleep. Drink lots of coffee.

Three Amigos is indeed very funny!
Is that a golden retriever puppy in your picture? I grew up with goldens but can't have any now because my hub is alergic :-(
Just stopped by to say hello...I'll be back
I linked to your blog through Manic Mom and just had to say hi and leave a comment. I am totally impressed with your favorite book/movie list - I mean, Narnia, Watership Down, Airplane AND Better Off Dead?? I read that and said, "No freakin' way!!". You are apparently a person of very discriminating (yet somewhat twisted) taste. When pressed, I've always listed "Watership Down" as my favorite book. It's very surpising and very cool to see it on someone else's list... especially someone who likes such goofy movies.
Anyway - snaps to you, Drew. I would sign this with my blog, but I'm not quite ready for anyone to read it yet. It's just for my therapy only at this point, so for now, consider me A. Nonny Mouse.
PS Adorable pooch!
Anon, never be afraid to laugh at what's funny. Steve Martin said 'You have to laugh once a day, because a day without sunshine is like...night.' Thanks for the kind words. More on puppy soon. :)
I want my two dollars!!!!!!!!!!
Ooh, and interesting that there's an anonymous talking of me in your comment section. I'm honored!
Now... I want my two dollars!!!!!!!!
Do you think I'm totally cool for knowing that line, or what?
BTW, you listed six, not five. Am I the only bright person in the world here or what?
And this is a curious question--Drew, are you male or female? It just occurred to me that you might be a male?
Or are you female impersonating a male blogger? Or perhaps a male impersonating a female blogger. Very mysterious.
Good.
BTW, keep up with the lists. I like 'em. I couldn't even finish my 100 things about me.
Maic mom, great job on counting the funny movies. It's really a tie between 5 and 6.
Don't tell my wife, but I'm a woman impesonating a man.
LOL.
I confess, I'm a guy. I write teen fiction for girls, so I set up this blog to see if I could pull off writing for the fairer sex. Thanks, it's nice to know I did a good job.
Manic Mom: WTG on the quote - I don't know aobut Drew, but I'M impressed! "Sorry your mom blew up, Ricky". LOL :)
Drew: Are you SURE on that "sunshine" quote?? I'm thinkin' Steven Wright said it. If I were Manic Mom, I'd probably bet some chocolate on it...
Uh-oh - I stand corrected! Found this online: "A day without laughter is like a day without sunshine, and a day without sunshine is like...night." --Steve Martin. Thank heavens I didn't bet something as crucial as chocolate on that! I humbly apologize for my doubt.
Three Amigos, yes. Princess Bride, yes. I would also have to add There's Something About Mary.
Best in Show! It's kinda dry humor, but it's really funny.
Well, now of course, I am even MORE intrigued about your teen fiction writing. Some books by men that blew me away: Dear Zoe, by Philip Beard; She's Come Undone, byt Wally Lamb; Little Children by Tom Perrotta. 10th Grade, by forgot who and am too lazy too look at my bookshelf!
Would LOVE to read some of your stuff. Hahahah, I outted you! LOL
