Safe and sound and on the ground
I am back from Orlando Baby! and have taken some time to recharge my batteries.
It was an amazing time. I'd had been telling people that God was going to to some great things at the conference, but I had no idea. It turns out that I had put God into a very small box. What He did with the youth blew me away.
Out of 7500 youth, 1700 (5 from my group) committed themselves to full time ministry. I was in the middle of an avalanche of young people all on their knees giving themselves to God. There was not a dry eye in the house. I was humbled and honored that God let me be a part of this.
The weather was hot and muggy, but we survived.
My church sent 16 youth and 5 adults to the conference. During the 10 days we spent together, we became a family. It was a time I would not trade for anything.
God is good all the time. All the time, God is good.

God is bigger and greater than anything that you can imagine.

I also tend to put God in a small box and then am blown away by his awesomeness. Welcome back!
Welcome back. I just got back myself from a national writer's conference in Dallas. Talk about getting recharged. I'm so psyched up and ready to get back on track.
So glad it was such a great experience!
