You bet it was fun

My wife and I went to the casino last night and had a blast. I had the hot hand at the slots (penny and nickel) and came out two and a half bucks ahead. My lovely and talented wife, on the other hand, couldn't catch a break. On the whole, we were down about thirteen bucks. Not bad for six hours of entertainment. Less than dinner and a movie.

We had a great time except for one thing. The state wide smoking ban does not apply to the reservation. We both smelled like ash trays by the time we left.

They had a token no smoking area, but it is open to the rest of the casino. What's up with that?

I have nothing against smokers, but I hate smoke. It's the only habit where everyone else has to participate with the person partaking. When I drink my Dr. Pepper, I don't make the guy next to me drink it too.

Thought for the day -

Never bet what you can't afford to lose.

Ewww. I'm glad people can't smoke anywhere here in NY.
